Water Lore

"WATER LORE", is an ongoing project, hosted by the Charity 'World of Water', to trace and record the evolving role of water in developing and maintaining communities.

Today, where water is 'on tap',
it is rarely seen as 'life-giving'
and held in any reverence.

It is however the key to life as we know it, and interestingly enough we still get rather excited whenever our space explorers find water 'out there'.

Hundreds of people have contributed their stories, photographs, diagrams and notes to the 'Water Lore' Project.

Please keep contributing, as we hope that on publication, 'Water Lore' will help to re-build and strengthen the respect and caring we all instinctively have for the sheer wonder of living water and the life it supports.
