Cookie & Privacy Policy

We know about real Cookies and a bit about the digital ones

As a rule, (who writes these rules!) cookies are there to make your browsing experience better. The only cookies we love at the HoBB are the ones straight out of the HoBB oven when fresh coffee is being served. Now THAT’S a ‘Cookie Policy’ to come home to!

However, “This site uses cookies – small text files that are placed on your machine to help the site provide a better user experience. In general, cookies are used to retain user preferences, store information for things like shopping carts, and provide anonymized tracking data to third party applications like Google Analytics.”

If you want to read up on these non-edible delights (?) we suggest consulting the Help section of your browser or taking a look at the About Cookies website which offers guidance for all modern browsers.

Those keen to disable such cookies, after reading about them, on this site and on others, can find ‘disable cookies’ in their browser.

Those salivating at the thought of fresh baked HoBBian cookies should contact us sometimes when the temptation to indulge overcomes them.

Privacy:

YES! It’s private here. We’re not into collecting data and making money by selling it. We don’t ‘do’ databases apart from the ones we were born to carry around on our shoulders.  If we say hello to you and you wonder how we remembered you, it’s because something reminded us of you and we looked at the last message or email you sent and replied. And if we say hello and you don’t want us to say hello, tell us and we’ll stop.  Oh yes, one more thing … if you want to know what we are doing and have not heard from us, select “Newsletter” from drop-down menu and this may jog us into action.
