New Year Resolutions at the HoBB

I000198t’s New Year and I’d like to wish you a Happy New Year, but I’d also like you to have a happy new year as well.

All years should be enjoyable and agreeable but for some, they can go out of control and end up either dull or sometimes, horrible. It’s a very real world around us and those who connect with the wide picture know that every year is full of both wonders and catastrophes, or as those Romans put it, ‘anni mirabiles’.

Nobody sends out New Year cards saying “Have an Anni Mirabiles” as we all wish eachother the best for each New Year. And whilst you are wishing others the best, it is also vital to wish only the best for oneself.

Best self-wishes are always those that run alongside your authentic self, so when you are making your new year resolutions you need to be very honest with yourself and ask yourself a few personal questions.

As an example, here’s just part of my question list for myself this new year:

“What should be the full year development potential of each of my businesses?”
“What would I like ………… (adding names of people I know) to do in the year ahead?”
“Who would I like to know and why?”
“Where would I like to be after another year?”
“What would I like to happen during the year ahead?”
“What lessons should I learn?”

After such a list is answered, truthfully, you need to share it wisely – making a secret wish doesn’t usually work. You need to gather circumstances around you so that they mount up to make your wishes come true. You need to remain focused on your wishes. Your wishes need to be the right ones for YOU.

There’s a lot of worth in the saying “How can the Universe help you if you do not tell the Universe what you want?”

I hope everyone (yes, everyone) who wishes well for others, receives the wishes they wish for themselves.

I’d like you to have a Happy New Year.
